PRIMIR, the Print Industries Market Information and Research Organization, is the research arm of NPES and a major source of data, analysis and trend information in the print industry. This year, the annual summer meeting will be held at July 21-23, 2014 at the DoubleTree Downtown-Lakeside Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio.
The PRIMIR 2014 Summer Meeting will focus on the evolution of printing and technology, as the theme suggests – “Print’s Evolution—Changing Markets, Firms, Technologies and Applications”.
The meeting will be packed with data and content including 2 new studies – Tag & Label Printing Trends, and Print Applications: Revenues, Processes and Run Lengths in Commercial Printing. A presentation covering the tag & label market will provide an overview of the evolving North American tag and label marketplace and address trends in the various end-use markets such as food, beverage or pharmaceutical.
The Print Applications study focused on changing marketing and advertising applications including: catalogs, brochures, direct mail, inserts and coupons. PRIMIR attendees will receive historical statistics plus forecasts to 2017 for commercial printer revenues.
In addition, the meeting will include a tour of a local package printing establishment, and a panel discussion featuring local printing industry executives who will share their perspectives on The Evolving Print Firm. The meetings are conducted in a dynamic interactive forum with industry managers and experts from the industry, and the environment offers great peer-to-peer networking opportunities.
