Master photographer Frans Lanting has been hailed as one of the great photographers of our time. His influential work appears in books, magazines, exhibitions and has been commissioned frequently by National Geographic, where he served as a Photographer-in-Residence. In the conference, Lanting will share how he interprets color in the natural world for his iconic imagery.
Jason Troutman, Principle Brand Designer / 3M
“Hey Man, I Ordered a Burger!”
Jason Troutman brings over 15 years of brand design and industrial design experience to the table, leading best practices and diverse projects across consumer brands. His expansive creative background focuses on bringing strong strategic design value to organizations and brand portfolios. In the conference, Troutman will reveal the misunderstandings, disagreements, blame, and outright ignorance that exists between designers and printers.
Cecile van der Harten, Image Department Manager / Rijksmuseum

She has a thorough knowledge of and experience with both 2D and 3D photographic and new digital techniques. In the conference, she will discuss the major advancements to capture and deliver scientifically reliable digital files, and what challenges lie ahead for color management in museum imaging.

James Hillman has 35+ years of operations and management experience in the print and distribution industries, holding various positions, from Director-Prepress Operations to President and CEO. In the conference, Hillman will share examples of how brands can provide visual guides and tools to their print partners in order to ensure maximum compliance in producing the exact brand colors across offset, digital, and wide-format.

Scott Lucas has 25+ years of experience in design, packaging and consumer branding. Over his career, Lucas has built teams and worked across continents and categories to help his clients grow their brands.
